29 Creativity Inducing Offices

Share:

We've been thinking a lot about creativity recently. Yesterday, we looked at how Steve Jobs influenced Pixar's creativity and collaboration through office design.

“Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while” – Steve Jobs

And in that same frame of mind, today I thought it would be interesting to see some creative office spaces that are sure to spark your inner creativity. Some of the companies features are Google, Dreamhost, MuleSoft, 3rings, BGT, Etsy, Inventionland, Sound Alliance, and Ogilvy & Mather.

These companies are across the spectrum in terms of types of companies, but they all represent companies that need to be creative in order to be successful. As such, their offices have many creative elements that aid employee creativity.

What do you surround yourself with in the office to get those creative juices flowing? How do you connect the obvious in new ways? Where does your best inspiration strike you?

Some of these are way overdone — more like a visual mind-fuck… while some look like very relaxing, inspiring places for a designer to work.
