Office Yoga: How to Feel Better at Work

We’re at work all day and some of us would obviously prefer to be other places, or just relaxing in front of the T.V. Though you can zone out and relax in front of the T.V. Office Yoga is also a way to rebalance and relax while you work. I’m not talking about going to sleep at your desk but using yoga to alleviate stress, headaches and feel better overall. You can imagine my delight when coming across this nifty book too, Office Yoga.

You don’t need your yoga gear for these poses and with just a few quick moves you can feel better instantly.

Got a headache? There’s a yoga move that can help.

Is your client late as usual? Why not try this stretch.

A few other ways to feel good at work:

-Get a drink of water. Coffee can dehydrate you thus making you feel tired, causing headaches and even make you grouchy. If you’re drinking soda at your desk then you’re probably asleep by the afternoon after your sugar crash. Water is a great way to perk yourself up and its good for you.

-Take a walk inside the office or outside the building. Studies have shown that taking breaks from your desk will boost your productivity, make you happier and make your workday overall much better.

-Change your office view. Any view is better than staring at a gray cubicle wall or being in a window less office. For those that don't have a choice try switching up the design of your space with colorful, fun and interesting bulletin boards or contact paper.

What are you doing this summer to feel good while you work? Let us know in the comments below!

Thank you for your review. This book seems to be very nice and useful for Office workers full of pressure stress. Useful also for the relaxation of the muscles.
