LINC was incorporated on June 13, 2000 as Lighthouse Communities Inc. after a community-based collaborative planning process. Since our inception we have grown to a staff of 28 and expanded services to include the neighborhood, city and county level. We view communities as systems and therefore use a holistic approach to neighborhood revitalization focusing on economic and real-estate development, resident and neighborhood services. This systemic approach to neighborhood revitalization has taught us to create sustainable communities that build upon their potentials and opportunities in order to succeed.

Urban LINC cowork space is designed to develop the entrepreneurial spirit of our community and expand the business base of our communities, creating viable businesses that strengthen the fabric of our neighborhoods. This space is open to all individual, nonprofit or corporate users with daily and monthly memberships. Located in an accessible urban area, Urban LINC offers a community feel, where individuals can conduct business, work on projects, cross-pollenate ideas, network, convene meetings, display art and show off talent. The space includes functional and versatile furniture, wifi, video conferencing, access to printer/copier/fax and an endless supply of coffee.
