“I’ve always felt that space should support the work being done, not be a hindrance to the work being done.”

Tara McCrackin has embraced this philosophy through her career as an interior designer and as a NCIDQ certified professional. Tara has practiced design for Custer WorkPlace Interiors, the Steelcase dealer in Grand Rapids, MI, as well as, InterActive Studio, an architecture and design firm that has completed work across the country. Tara was instrumental in the development of the the Steelcase Leadership Collaborative space in their Global Headquarters building, as well as with WorkSpring, their latest Chicago-based venture project. Tara has also been the designer for the Rackspace project in San Antonio, which was one of the first installations of the Turnstone Tour product line.

Tara is a member of the Interior Design faculty of Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University; teaching Materials courses, the occasional studio course, and advanced AutoCad. In her spare time, she’s the Girl Scout Leader of Troop 2820.
