Accessories by blueLounge
As someone who spends her day designing, critiquing and engulfing herself in the world of workspaces, I frequently find myself impressed by some of the companies I come across. Some of you may have already heard of Blue Lounge, but for those whom have not, prepare to become obsessed. Here are 3 products that everyone should know about:
Cable Box
Dealing with a mess of cords is not only unsightly, but dangerous too. Not everyone is careful of stepping over cords, nor should they have to be. Keep your cords together along with your surge protector in this handy cable box. No need to unplug anything from your surge protector, just place it inside with the one cord coming through the side. Not sure where to place your wireless router? There is more than enough room to cords and routers.
Cable Drop
Though I love to bring my work with me everywhere I go, I find it annoying to pick up my charger or USB cord from the ground after taking my laptop somewhere besides my desk. I didn’t just leave my cords there but it’s nearly impossible to hold them in place without some sort of paperweight to hold it down. And that’s exactly why I love the Cable Drop. These “cable clips” come in a pack of six and help ease cord nuisances. Cable Drops are also are "certified" Turnstone Favorite.
Cool Feet
If you’re like me, your work computer is a laptop and you take it with you everywhere you go. It doesn’t just sit at your desk and wait for you to show up to work each day; it goes to coffee shops, your house, meetings and more. Most of the time, I find myself working off of my lap and unfortunately my legs end up feeling like they’ve been roasted. That’s until I discovered Cool Feet, which help keep your lap cool and your laptop from over heating. Not only is it handy to keep the heat off your legs, but the angling helps keep my wrists from hurting too.
