Chicago, Illinois

Founded in 2000, farm|cp began pushing the limits of digital imagery, creating products and environments that have become nearly impossible to distinguish from traditional photography.  Ten years later, the team has grown from 2 to 24. With it, we’ve added motion graphics, interactive software, and custom web designs to the menu.  After a few moves, we’ve made Chicago’s west loop our home and with a growing fondness for Greektown gyros, we’re here to stay.

Our office space really mirrors our team’s personality- exciting, creative, and fun. The interior palette has shades of brown, light blues, deep oranges, and a hint of maroon. Walnut Currency compliments everything from our carpet tiles to the pool table. Turnstone furniture lives throughout our office. From the Alight benches scattered throughout to the Lincoln quadruplets, we keep a clean, modern, and relaxed setting.

We’ve tried to create an open and welcoming work environment to promote communication and collaboration between employees. Within our core workplace, there are no cubicles or closed off spaces, just a unique formation of Tour. This allows us to situate the office veterans along with new-comers to produce an environment where knowledge and ideas are exchanged quickly. The set-up still gives our artists a sense of privacy, but also allows them to discuss and plan at the turn of chair.

Like any office, there are staff meetings, conference calls, and desk work, but farm|cp is a place where our employees can also kick back with a t-shirt and jeans. During the day, we try to blend in a bit of fun with the tight deadlines and (sometimes) long hours. During lunch, you’ll find us shooting pool, playing corn hole, or gathered together watching EPSN.

Furniture continues to play a unique role in both the way we work and the projects we work on.  Our crew believes that there isn’t anything we can’t handle.  Part of that attitude comes from the positivity our environment breeds.  One decade in, the goal is still the same:  learn, grow, and enjoy yourself along the way.
