Infographic Reveals Challenges of Remote Working
When it comes to getting work done, all generations want choices. Technology has cut the cord, freeing us from a single, prescribed way of tackling projects and to-do lists, making it easy for remote workers to take work “anywhere.” And for a long time, we’ve convinced ourselves that our favorite places, like the corner coffee shop or our living room sofa, were meeting all our needs.
But many of us have found that “working anywhere” doesn’t work.
Recent turnstone research shows that third places are riddled with inherent compromises and trade-offs: noise in the coffee shop, nowhere to charge devices from the sofa, and a lack of connection to the larger team when working away from the office. In fact, 72% of those who work remotely at times report some problems when working outside the office.
We love our favorite places, but until now, they really haven’t offered the kind of support we need to do our best work.
It’s time your favorite places start working for you.
